💫 Registration as Labour Contractor (Agricultural Sector)
According to the Workers’ Rights (Labour Contractor) (Agricultural Sector) Regulations 2026, federations/ associations/ co-operative societies having small planters or small breeders as members may make an application to the Ministry for registration as Labour Contractor (Agricultural Sector). Applications should be submitted to the Permanent Secretary on the prescribed application form which is available on the website of the Ministry at https://empment-labour.govmu.org. The application should be sent by registered post or may be hand delivered to the following address:

📌 Documents to be submitted with the Application Form
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- 🔹A certified copy of the certificate of registration issued by the Registrar of Associations or the Registrar of Co-operative Societies
- 🔹A certified copy of the rules of the Federation/Association/ Co-operative Society issued by the Registrar of Associations or the Registrar of Co-operative Societies
- 🔹Up to date register of members of the association or society
- 🔹A certified copy of the annual return or audited accounts for the last 3 years issued by the Registrar of Associations or the Registrar of Co-operative Societies as the case may be.
- 🔹Such other information as may be required by the Supervising Officer/ Permanent Secretary.
