To address the shortage of Land Surveyors delaying local projects, the Ministry of Labour and Industrial Relations launched the Trainee Land Surveyor Scheme (TLSS) in 2023-2024, providing young graduates with a two-year supervised practical training to qualify for professional registration under the Land Surveyors Act.
a) Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should hold a Diploma in Land Surveying from the University of Mauritius or such other qualifications as may be prescribed in accordance with the Land Surveyors Act.
b) Stipend: Rs 17,045 / month and refund of bus fares.
Candidates must register and complete the online form on the Mauritius Jobs website (https://mauritiusjobs.govmu.org/ ) and qualified applicants are required to visit the Training Programme Unit, Ministry of Labour and Industrial Relations, Level 8, Victoria House, Port Louis, to submit their application in person.
